• Profile information: name, photos, bio, interests, preferences, and city
• Usage data: likes, passes, matches, messages, reports
• Device and log data: browser type, IP address, access times
• Subscription status and billing identifiers; Stripe processes payment details directly

2. How we use your information

• To provide matching, chat, and Quick Talk features
• To verify you are 18 or older
• To enforce community guidelines and safety policies
• To improve our services and prevent fraud

3. Legal bases

We process information as needed to provide the service you request, protect users and our legitimate interests, comply with legal obligations, and—where required—based on your consent. You can withdraw optional analytics consent at any time below.

4. Age requirement

SparkMeet is strictly for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn a user is underage, we will delete their account immediately.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with service providers (hosting, analytics, video calling) under strict confidentiality agreements, or when required by law.

Current service providers include Google Firebase for authentication, storage and hosting, Stripe for payments, and Daily for private voice/video sessions. These providers may process data outside your country using their applicable transfer safeguards.

6. Retention

We retain account data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, subject to fraud prevention, safety, dispute, accounting, and legal obligations. Account deletion removes the active profile and associated application data.

• Access and update your profile at any time
• Delete your account from Settings or Profile
• Block and report other users
• Request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing where applicable
• Withdraw consent without affecting processing that already occurred

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect your data.

9. Cookies and analytics

Essential browser storage is used to keep you signed in and remember your settings. Optional Firebase Analytics runs only after you allow it. You can change that choice below at any time.
