Child Safety & CSAE Safety Standards
SparkMeet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This page outlines our standards and commitments.
Age requirement
SparkMeet is for adults 18 and older only. We require a date of birth and an 18+ declaration during onboarding. Users reported or discovered to be under 18 are removed from discovery while the report is reviewed and are banned when the violation is confirmed.
Prohibited content and behavior
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
- Grooming or exploitation of minors
- Content sexualizing children or appearing to depict minors
- Attempts to contact or solicit minors
- Sharing links to CSAM or exploitation content
Detection and reporting
- Users can report underage accounts or CSAE content instantly
- Reports are prioritized for immediate review
- Confirmed violations result in permanent bans and evidence preservation where required
- Apparent CSAM is reported to NCMEC and/or relevant authorities when legally required
Moderation
All reported accounts are reviewed by our moderation team. Accounts with CSAE violations are permanently banned. We cooperate with law enforcement when required.
Prevention measures
- 18+ age gate and date-of-birth declaration during onboarding
- Report and block tools on every profile and chat
- No underage users in discovery or matching
- Community guidelines enforcement
